Hi

There are some terms and limitations to follow during the Turn-N-Learn sessions:

  1. You bring your own wood and any hardware kits that are required for your turning project.   Ex: pen kits, pepper mill kits etc.

  2. You are restricted to make only items similar to what was taught in a class you took at SCAE. For example, you are not allowed to make a goblet during these sessions if you haven't taken the goblet class offered by SCAE.

  3. The fee you pay to reserve a spot is considered as a donation to BCW and as such is non-refundable.

  4. Since the registration process is automated, you can not change your spot or date after you have paid the fee.
  5. We require a minimum number of members for each session to make it worthwhile for the volunteer instructor to be present during these sessions. That minimum number  is 4. If fewer than 4 members register for any session, BCW reserves the right to cancel that session and give a rain check to those members to be used towards another session in the future.
  6. If you have signed up for 2 or more TNLs in a month, you should wait 3 days after the announcement of a new TNL that month to sign up. This is to give others a chance to sign up and get some learning time on the lathe.
